LED Workshop for the cluster a success story

This workshop is the first of its kind and was conducted on the 21-22 August at the Makalani Hotel in Tsumeb. The workshop show a symbolic sign that people at grassroots level can be creative and innovative to change the livelihoods of the inhabitants. The Workshop was focusing on establishing cooperation between the town councils and development agencies in the economic cluster commonly known as the Maize triangle. Small towns are the engines of the economic growth of the country. A committee will be formed to monitor identified projects in the cluster. A cluster cultural show will also be envisaged to show case products and services offered by the three towns. One will give a token of appreciation to the both the Mayor of Tsumeb and Otavi and his CEO, Urban Trust of Namibia, NCCI, LEDA -MRLGHRD , TCCC, and the PRO of Grootfontein Municipality for the valuable contribution during this workshop.  This is a greatest opportunity to promote the decoupling of service delivery and create employment through income generating activities. This great initiatives need support from all stakeholders in the country to promote the economic sustainability in the country.
